LIVERPOOL- Liverpool go through the next round of Europa League after beating Lille 3-0 at Anfield. In the first round of knock out stage Liverpool left behind with aggregate 0-1. In this morning second leg, The Reds lashes out the French club. Fernando Torres contribute two goals to bring his team through to quarter final after eleven month with no goal at European level. Liverpool skipper, Steven Gerrard have the opening goal for Liverpool at the 8th minute.It secured a second victory in an important week, with Manchester United to come at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Fulham also managed to turns fates around when they had beat Juventus with 4-1 goals in this early morning match. in the first leg they lost 3-1 at Turin. The Cottagers fired up with goals from Zamora at the 8th minute, two goals from Gera and one from Clint Dempsey.Fulham go through to quarter final with 5-4 aggregate.
Other team that also go through to the last eight are Anderlecht, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Standard Liege, Valencia and Wolfsburg.
